Whoo hooo hooo in the snow!

video

We had big fun out in the snow today. The guys pulled my daughter and son around in a giant sled behind the gator up and down the hill on the farm. It was better than an e-ticket ride at Disney!

What fun! This brought back memories of my young adulthood. We didn't have gators and fancy sleds. Some of the guys had old WWII jeeps they had refurbished and would get old car hoods. We would build big bon fires out in the country. They would lash the car hoods to the jeeps and several of us would pile on and be dragged through the snow. What fun memories. I can just imagine how your daughter will feel when she relives this fun experience in the future.

Cindy -- Happy Holidays to ya! We had so much fun - but it's colder with icy rain now, so we are toasty warm inside by the constant fire.

Janet -- It was a blast. Have a great holiday.

Ayurvedic - Happy to share!

Lisa --They all mentioned getting pulled on car hoods, too, as kids! I'd never heard of that. You're right, this is one that none of us will forget. Happy Holidays!

Hi there Diana, gosh what a great idea! It was always my husband who had to run around the garden pulling our daughter’s behind him on sledges. LOL… at 6ft 3in he often fell over doing so… especially when turning corners. We all had fun… especially me with holding the video camera :-D

Just wanted to stop by and wish you a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2010 to you and yours :-D

Gail -- The snow is gone now, but it was so much fun while it lasted. Have a very Merry Christmas!

Shirl -- Thanks and best wishes for you and yours for the Holiday, too. I never had such fancy sledding either, but it sure looked like fun. Memories they will never forget!
