After the rain...

After our wonderful .34 inches of rain yesterday, I went outside to look at the wet ground and to bask in the humidity.

And I stepped into an amazing amber glow of light as the sun was setting, so I rushed in to get my camera.
I didn't do it justice, especially with the little point and shoot, but you get the idea.
And this morning, I don't have to water for 45 minutes.

Yeah!

Pam -- I really didn't capture it -- the whole landscape was bathed in an orange glow.

RambleonRose -- And I wish we could share a little of our sunshine with you!

It was a beautiful sunset. We were out without a camera. That'll teach me.
Thanks for sharing yours.

A beautiful sky. It reminds me of autumn. It won't be long now. I hope autumn brings you more rain and beautiful skies.

Linda -- Well, you can't carry a camera all the time! And sometimes I think it's better not to take pictures and just see it instead!

Lisa - Fall? Fall? Really? I sure hope so. 103+ for all week again for us. But I am counting on cooler temps and rain this Fall!

Absolutely beautiful! It can be difficult to capture a sunset sky. Congratulations on your measureable rainfall.
