Taniguchi Japanese Garden inspires wedded bliss~

So many of you commented about our wedding at the Zilker Taniguchi Japanese Garden that I wanted to share a picture with you of the beautiful setting it provided for one of the happiest days of my life.

It was a sunny (hot) June day (a few sprinkles for luck, but not on us!).

We were surrounded by our family, closest friends and the Koi!

So, while I was search through the 6,000+ photos in my iphoto program, I ran across another one you need to see.

The next photo was taken at the reception at the Barr Mansion across town. It has nothing to do with the garden story, I just wanted you to see the back of my dress!!!

Tee hee.

What a show off!! Well you do have something to show off. We were just there today and there was a bride having her photos taken. Lovely setting.

And the gardens, of course! Gail -- Thanks - the reception place has an amazing garden, too and an old house - very cool. Dawn -- The big smile on my husband's face all day was the best part. Lancashire Rose - see, those gardens are just the perfect spot for a celebration. Oooh, do I spot morning glories in your bouquet?

And yes, the back of your dress is quite spectacular. ;)

Lori - nah - they are orchids -- but morning glories would have been beautiful. I just planted some yesterday, in fact.
