She's just peachy...

My tiny little peach tree is loving this warm Spring weather, and showing me her lovely blooms.
So many little buds -- but generally, no real peaches.  I usually get a few little walnut-sized balls that don't ever mature.
But, she's pretty anyway and I may give her some extra TLC this year to try to help her make some fruit.
In any case, she's feeding someone, as this bee is happily slurping away on his dinner.

I love spring tree blooms! I can't wait for mine to start blooming!

When is spring break? We are finally warming up here, I know it won't last, but I'm so glad for a break from the freezing cold.

Robin -- The rest of my trees are still pretty bare, but some have baby buds. Spring break is March 14-22 for us. We're coming up to enjoy your freezing weather for 6 days -- it's going to be a real shocker!

Lisa -- It is a Spring picture, isn't it? And to think I almost didn't see it! Now I can be sure to watch it unfold and fill with fragrant blooms.

LLEller -- How nice to "see" you here! A pleasant surprise. How's your blog going?

I am so jealous!! I planted 2 little peach trees last year, which came home with a couple of peaches already growing. Well all I managed to see was my new trees drop their leaves, not once but twice :-(

This season all I have is 4 little leaves coming out on one tree so far. No blooms, nothing. I know it's early but I am nervous now.

I really enjoy your blog. I am trying to get my blog up and going after taking some time off.

Talk to you soon,
Michelle from http://gettingdirtyintexas.blogspot.com/

Diana, it's really looking like Spring, isn't it? Some rain would be nice right about now. We seem to always get our last blast of nasty weather during spring break; do you think we have more to go? I love those peach blooms, so I guess she can be forgiven for not bearing fruit since she looks so pretty!

Michelle -- I had trouble posting on your blog, so I'll tell you here -- LOVED the story about the hummers and the post about the gophers. I think gardeners are pretty competitive in general. Hope those gophers don't get moved to your yard! I will try to comment in another browser - that usually fixes it. Glad you like the peaches -- this puny little tree has been here about 5 years, so don't give up hope on yours!

GetGrounded-- It really is spring. And we have rain in the forecast. I sure hope it materializes. I've had to start watering -- what with planting many new things. We are going to bitterly cold Indiana for spring break - THAT's gonna be a shocker!

Beautiful photos! For some reason my peach tree is late...not a bloom on her!

Conscious Gardener -- Well, mine just started with a few branches, so I still have a ways to go. With these next few warm days and maybe even some rain, it won't be long now.
