Ok, even though I have some daffodils in my garden, I just couldn't resist this mixed bulb pot at the big box last Saturday.
Isn't that pretty? And those bulbs can all go right in the ground when they are done blooming, so it's like recycling ...
Have a great week...

Oh, so pretty! Now that makes you feel like Spring is here.

Hocking Hills Gardener -- yes, it's like Spring in a pot, isn't it? And it will last longer than fresh flowers, too.
Oooh, Diana, that gives me ideas for my grape hyacinths that are currently in bloom...I think I'll be adding daffodils to the area next fall. Thanks!
I love your pot of pretties, they brighten up the indoors. gail
GetGrounded -- the purple and the bright yellow make a nice combination, don't they? I love those vibrant colors anyway.
Gail -- It does brighten up in the inside. I need to plant some daffodils outside the breakfast room window next time so I can see them from indoors. Maybe I will plant all of these there!
Gail - Omigosh - so I went to peer out the breakfast room window, thinking, I thought I HAD planted some Daffs out there and sure enough, 1 is peeking up through the mulch ever so slightly! How exciting. So now these can make another bunch out there.
Hi Diana, the hyacinth are so fragrant to have in the house too! Bright, cheery and smells good!! Perfect combination.
Janet
Janet - they are fragrant - they are perfuming my whole kitchen!
You already have daffodils in your garden yet? I only have some snowdrops and crocussen... Yes, and indoors some pussy willow, that also gives a feeling of spring.
I can see why you were tempted. They make a very cheery display.
Anne Tanne - yes, I have several clumps of daffodils in the garden adn I love them. I wish we could grow crocus or pussy willows - Can't wait to see yours in bloom.
Lancashire Rose - They are cheery, aren't they? For the time I can't be outside in the garden!
By the way, Diana, I love the new pic of the dogs lounging and watching you work. So helpful, aren't they?
Since you don't seem to receive or leave a lot of messages at blotanical, I thought I'd trip on over here and wish you a happy birthday, Diana. You're one of the brightest of blogging spots in my days (when I have time to visit lately!) and here's to many more happy days of gardening and joyfulness ahead!
GetGrounded -- yes, you noticed, huh? Dakota is especially helpful when she digs my bulbs BACK up!
Jodi - thanks for visiting here. I've had Blotanical problems and just gave up... Glad our sunny flowers can bring you some cheer. I know you have quite a bit of cold yet. It's supposed to be 88F today here - crazy! How's the book going?
..and you can plant them when it's over.
Mother Nature - yes, you're right. It's a double treat, or even more as they keep coming back up!
