Mother Nature's Birthday Wishes

Boy oh Boy, did Mother Nature send me beautiful birthday wishes today. It was 88 stunning and sunny degrees here and my Maggie rose opened to the most amazing bloom today -- all just for me. How special.

Isn't she lovely?

Happy Birthday, Diana. What a beautiful rose. She reminds me a little of my Sophy's Rose because of her petal shape.~~Dee

Dee -- Thanks. I am so happy with both the intricate shape and the wonderful scent of this rose. I'll have to look for your Sophy next time you post roses.

Janet -- It was unseasonably warm for us, too. And we are expecting 37 Sunday night here -- so we aren't out of the freezing woods yet...a few more weeks to go before it's safe.

Now that was a wonderful present! My birthday is on the 4th, if only I could be so lucky.

It's a pretty good birthday when even the garden gives you a present that beautiful. I hope you had a great day!

Debbi -Thanks for the BD wishes. I look forward to seeing pictures of your Maggie when she's ready.

Gail --Had a great BD, thanks. I love the vibrant color because I have it by the tropical pool areas, so it fits in even though it's so delicate. The color just makes it pop.

Robin -- Hope you are planning something fun and WARM on the 4th for your celebration!

Pam -- I like to take liberties with my interpretations of events in the garden! Thinking that Maggie bloomed just for me made me happy.

GetGrounded - It was a great gift - and a great day @ 91 degrees. I couldn't ask for more.
